Podcasts are free audio shows that you can stream and play on your Mac. You can listen to individual episodes, or you can subscribe to a show so that new episodes are automatically downloaded as they become available.

Go into podcasts in iTunes. Select 'Show Feed' at the bottom if you haven't already to show episodes not yet downloaded; Click the Cloud Icon With Down Arrow next to the episode you want to download; Open USB Stick in Finder; Drag and drop the downloaded episode from iTunes to USB folder (no need to find the file, this creates a copy on USB stick). Click the iTunes Store in the Source List on the left. Click the Podcasts link on the store’s home screen. Click a link on the Podcasts screen, or type a keyword or phrase in the Search field. You will see a bunch of recommended results on the right side. Select the Podcasts that you need to subscribe to.
Your podcast subscriptions, stations, and current play position sync to the Podcasts app on all your devices when you sign in with the same Apple ID. Refer to See your podcasts on all your devices.

You can also press the Space bar to play, pause, and resume playing a show (or use the Touch Bar).
Ask Siri. Say something like:

Use the Playing Next list
While listening to podcasts, you can use the Playing Next list to view and change which episodes (or chapters within an episode) play next.
The Playing Next list appears onscreen until you click again to close it.

You can download specific episodes so you can play them when you’re offline, even if you don’t subscribe to the podcast.
You can also automatically download new or unplayed episodes for podcasts you subscribe to. See Change General preferences.

To remove a downloaded episode, click the More button , then choose Remove. If you have a trackpad or a Magic Mouse, you can also swipe left with two fingers on the episode, then click Delete.
You can automatically delete episodes that you’ve already listened to. See Change Advanced preferences.
